GOST Safety & Sea Survival Training

WORLD SAILING SAFETY TRAING & OFFICAL GOST DINNER 2017

 

The Global Offshore Sailing Team and Expedition Corps of Expedition Antarctic Blanc will absolve in preparation  of its Southern Ocean and Drake Passage crossing a special two day ISAF certified World Sailing Safety Training.

The training which takes place on DECEMBER 2-3 at lake Starnberg will be supervised by the professional sailor Christian Kargl, who not only sails regularely the Fastnet Race but also absolved successfully the MiniTransat single-handed.

All GOST members and Family relatives are invited to participate at the Training and the official GOST 2017 DINNER in the evening of December 2 at lake Starnberg. Due to the limited training participant contingent Expedition Corps members have prioritiy followed by the rule „first come, first serve“  Details regarding accommodation etc. will follow.

Responsible for the WORLD SAILING SAFETY TRAING & GOST 2017 DINNER organisation is Expedition’s Medical Officer & Decksmaster Bernd Goergner.
